When we use pseudonymized information (information about an individual obtained by processing personal information in such a way that it cannot be used to identify the individual unless it is cross-referenced with other information), we will comply with laws and regulations pertaining to personal information and follow appropriate procedures to create the pseudonymized information. In addition, when creating pseudonymized information, or when acquiring pseudonymized information and the deleted information, etc. (meaning the descriptions, etc. deleted from the personal information used to create the pseudonymized information, personal identification numbers, and information on the processing method) pertaining to the pseudonymized information, we will implement appropriate safe management measures in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations pertaining to personal information.
When we use anonymized information (information about an individual obtained by processing personal information in such a way that it cannot be used to identify the individual or restored into information that would be classified as personal information), we will comply with laws and regulations pertaining to personal information and follow appropriate procedures to create the anonymized information. In addition, we will take appropriate safe management measures and measures to supervise contractors when it comes to personal information. When providing anonymized information to a third party or receiving anonymized information from a third party, we will comply with laws and regulations pertaining to personal information and follow appropriate procedures.
We may use information about you as pseudonymized, anonymized, or statistical information to fulfill various purposes, not limited to the purpose of use at the time of acquisition, or in other ways permitted by the Personal Information Protection Act. Statistical information may be made public.

When making a request for notification of purpose of use, disclosure or correction of retained personal data, etc., note the following points and send the required documents by post to us using the contact information below for requests related to personal information. These requests are only accepted by postal mail.
Please note that we cannot accept requests by telephone or other methods, as we are unable to properly verify the identity of the individual making the request.
Please also note that it is difficult to respond to such requests on the spot, so even if you come to our office in person, you will need to send us a separate request by mail.

If there are any deficiencies in the procedures for various requests, we may contact you at the telephone number you entered on the request form to confirm the details of your request. If we need to have you resend the request by postal mail, we will dispose of the old request in an appropriate manner.
We will mail a written response to requests for notification of purpose of use or disclosure of retained personal data by registered mail to the address of the person making the request, whether the request is made by the individual in question or by someone else on their behalf. Please note that although we mail written responses within one week of receiving requests, there may be a delay in the response due to business circumstances.
Please note that we will not be able to respond to requests in the cases below. If we are unable to provide a response, we will provide written notification along with the reason.
We will only use the personal information we obtain in relation to various requests within the scope necessary to respond to those requests. In addition, the submitted identification documents will be disposed of in an appropriate manner without delay after the response to the request is provided.
We will make appropriate improvements to our personal information management system. Accordingly, the Daio Paper Group Basic Policy on Personal Information Protection and “Handling of Personal Information” may be changed without prior notice to the extent permitted by laws and regulations pertaining to personal information. However, be assured that we will not make any changes that will be unilaterally disadvantageous to our customers.
